4th and 5th March 2020

22 beds are booked at the ABMSAC George Starkey Hut in Patterdale for the
nights of Friday 4th and Saturday 5th March. However as usual we have the
option of extending our stay by a day or so if required.
As this is a long established Oread meet I think everyone will be aware of the
options available in close proximity to this hut, and over recent years climbing,
walking, mountain biking, fell running and canoeing have all featured.
Although I will be co-ordinating bookings for this meet it is unlikely I will be the
‘on the ground’ meet leader. Assuming current UK and Norwegian Covid
restrictions do not change over the next few weeks we will be having our 3rd
attempt at a Hurtigruten ‘northern lights’ coastal voyage. Hopefully this time the
trip won’t end in a very polite but firm deportation!
