  • Soggy tents in Skye 1950s Geoff Thompson left Brian Cook right Nottingham contingent arrived complete with beer in a barrel.at the end of the 2 fine daysto join Jack Wolfe, Brian and Marion Cooke and Doug Robinson. All but the latter group, on 3 feet higher ground retreated to the barn. Other non-Oread inhabitants could not understand why Oreads all drank cold tea!!!
