We will start at 11.00 am at Ambergate, parking just over the river bridge on
Holly Lane, the little road that goes off near the Hurt Arms and the cricket
ground at SK347515. We will make our way up through Shining Cliff woods to a
fine lunch spot in the fields above and then over to Alderwasley and down to

Whatstandwell where we might be tempted to stop at the Family Tree for a beer
or afternoon tea before making our way back to Ambergate along the canal.
