Perhaps a lesser known corner of Derbyshire. This walk starts in Hathersage,
climbs to Nether Bretton via Highlow Brook and Bretton Clough. Across to Abney
and Overton Moor, returning along the Derwent Valley. Approximately 16km/10
miles with 450m elevation.
Meet at the end of Station Approach where it meets the B6001 at SK 2319 8117,
10:30 am. Bring lunch to eat en route. There are a multitude of hostelries and
cafes to visit at the end of the walk.
There is some roadside parking along Station Approach (not in the station itself)
and other nearby roads, with a Pay & Display car park off Oddfellows Road.
