Meet in the car park (£2,00) at Whatstandwell railway station on the A6 (SK
33322 54093) for 10.00 am start. Our walk of approximately 11 miles starts very
gently, heading south on the canal towpath for just over 1.5 miles before heading
up hill to the village of Crich and a visit to Crich Stand. With most of the up hill
behind us the walk continues to Lea before heading down to Viaduct cottage and
returning to the start along the canal towpath.
