The ‘Iceberg Trail’ on the remote east coast of Greenland, was a
backpacking trek, requiring food drop offs and boat rides between the
various sections and crampons for crossing snowfields and ascending
mountains. It was a great adventure, in a true wilderness, with
breathtaking scenery.
The Laugavegur trek of Iceland stood out for its magical and diverse
landscape, stark and beautiful volcanic hills, hot springs and spouting
thermal vents.
